Pros:
Nano is nearly instant with no fees
The distribution method (faucets+sketchy exchanges) was low effort but kind of genius.
Brilliant CEO etc

Cons:
This is literally the bernie sanders of cryptos the way reddit fanbois treat it. They actually think BTC is the devil and that this will replace it just because it's lighter and feeless.
Though the Nano team has written proofs showing otherwise, I still worry about the security of DAGs and double payments occurring. IOTA seemed to have a critical hitches and security flaws in its inception (and that's a team of 100+ experts in the field, not one dude)

maybe ill buy a coffee with nano someday, but i dont see myself using it for anything other than a bridge for transferring funds.

yeah it devistated a lot of people. there was a guy here on /biz/ known as "the nano fudder" he posted a bunch of fud about nano everyday for 2 years straight from mid 2018 to mid 2020. many people lost a lot of money during the exchange hack. Nano is great tech tho and has great pumpamentals and fundamentals. no inflation and completely distributed ? which coin has this? most assets have some kind of staking rewards (inflation/sell pressure). Look at avax for example. 11pct criculating supply. massive amount of coins yet to hit market. once the hype is over for avax it will dump massively and keep dumping forever, early people got it for nearly free and can dump forever. friends of the devs all got big stacks for pennies or nothing even. They can stake and dump forever. this is not something that will happen on an asset like Nano, making it, market wide a great store of value compared to others. IOTA also has this feature but its less equally distributed I think. you have to be a real brainlet to not have some nano. I personally got hooked after I compared it to other assets in tranfer and ease of use of mobile wallet. It blew my mind how fast and easy and how well it worked. Since then I've sent atleast 10 people some nano during the bearmarket. Its a coin you can use to introduce people. I couldn't send them BTC cause fees.
