They're a total trap right? I obviously know about them being basically directly equivalent to cash secured puts, but I think there's something even nastier about them if you're a trader. I'll make a "free" $600 on a position in a week that I could have made $2,400 on if I just had a policy of "never ever under any condition sell calls against your positions."
