Hello. Please don't hate I usually browse /pol/ and on occasion /b/ but I'm ready to grow up and start taking my life seriously.

I'm not asking for free money or asking what I should invest in.

I am honestly just asking where I should start with my research on stonks so I can get into all of this and hopefully become a part of this community and maybe even contribute in the future.

I got started in stonks in 2018(with robinhood kek) I started with 300 dollars, went from a couple of stocks in gopro and Qcom eventually flipping those for tesla and more Qcom but took a gamble and invested into gme and amc(AMC is a long term deal for me and I plan on waiting until 2030 when the pandemic ends to see how they do) but I held my gme past the 490 mark and I am fine with the loses that I took as I bought in at 70 a stonk 10 stonks and sold at 50 went from a little over 2k invested to just under 830 and now I must build myself back up I fully understand loses happen and I'm happy with the choices I've made. I do view these as a L, not a Loss but a Lesson and I want to further my knowledge so I may learn from the decisions I made so where would be the most basic place to start in learning about stocks and trading

Bookmark Investopedia and sign up for Think or Swim and start paper-trading with Monopoly money until you figure out how shit works. Learn how to read candlestick charts and use chart studies like Bollinger Bands, Ichimoku Clouds, etc. Check out YouTubers like Project Option, InTheMoney, and Simple Ton. You're probably gonna have to look up every single term starting out and that's fine. Put the puzzle pieces together until you know wtf they're talking about.
