ATOS - Atossa halted Phase 2 trials due to OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE results for Cancer

Atossa has been working on a proprietary drug called Endoxifen. Endoxifen is the main component of Tamoxifen that helps reduce tumor activity (Tamoxifen has been the standard for breast cancer treatment for decades). Endoxifen has far less safety risks, is tolerated by all patients tested, and does not cause the same adverse effects that Tamoxifen has. Atossa is also developing a topical Endoxifen solution that can be used for patients who have a difficult time
Due to overwhelmingly positive results from Phase 2, they have halted Phase 2 and are expediting for Phase 3. This saves at least a year on time and cash. Its not every day a Phase 2 study is halted for positive results for a breast cancer treatment.

The findings help to confirm an FDA Approved Single-Patient Compassionate Use Study as well. They had a patient in this study that has not had a recurrence of breast cancer for TWO YEARS. If you don't understand what this means, compassionate use studies are meant for patients who have no other choice. And now the patient doesn't have breast cancer.

One of the other big plays for ATOS is there COVID Nasal Spray. Back in November, they published preliminary results. During the last conference, Dr. Quay confirmed they have completed Phase 1 and are on to Phase 2. Dr. Quay seeks to acquire FDA fast track on this one. The update on the Nasal Spray may be the next catalyst/PR to drop. Haven't had a PR on this since Nov. This Nasal Spray is an at-home solution.

Back on the 29th: "We completed financings with gross proceeds of approximately $60 million and in the past week have added an additional $21 million to our balance sheet through the exercise of outstanding warrants. We look forward to the speed at which we can now advance our programs in 2021.” This reads like "We've got enough cash for at least 2021 so don't worry about any offerings." This helps to confirm that there should not be any offerings on the horizon.

In summary, I feel very strongly about ATOS. The company is in a prime position for a buyout from a big pharm. They also have the ability to market both their Endoxifen drug and the COVID Nasal Spray themselves. The Nasal Spray can be used at home, and they are looking for partnerships with testing companies to deliver the Nasal Spray for positive results. The Nasal Spray is meant to essentially stop the symptoms of the virus from becoming dangerous. Its meant to be used as soon as you have a positive test, or if you live with others that are sick.

On top of all this, ATOS is one of the most highly shorted stocks on the market at the moment. That part of it I don't want to get into too much because honestly, I'm tired of hearing it. Shorts wanna hold down a company that has a treatment for breast cancer... thats just pitiful.
