ETH EMERGENCY MEETING

>$100 fees per tx is unsustainable.
>There will be no newfags to dump our alt bags on when they can't even afford the fees.
>Serious competitors are emerging now.

I am scared bros...

I have 20k in small caps that may not go up because they are only on chink exchanges or uniswap. I don't mind the fees because I usually buy multiple thousand $ worth but yeah idk how this is gonna end for us.

Same as me but newfags are getting priced out of buying our bags because of the fees.

Just buy the RBC. Pay the insane gas fees (which are supposed to be solved by RBC in the first place).
Believe in product.

Newfags just buy on CEXes anyways. If you interacted with uniswap or some other DEX with metamask you're already an early adopter if you believe it or not.
Remember the amount of "oooh noooo I didn't get in the uniswap airdrop yadda yadda"? Yeah.
The fees are the product of excessive bidding wars because of extremely profitable defi products. Imagine thinking this is bearish lmao.

Yeah that's why I'm not selling them. Here I am complaining about a 3x in a month but only because I am seeing the larger cap listed coins making bigger gains. Do you think with the gas fees the money will still find its way to low caps in the short term?

you realize gas fees wouldn't be so high if people weren't willing to pay them, right?

you're shorting this chart https://etherscan.io/chart/tx

Cardano will have the same problem
All cryptos suffer from this problem when they become large enough
The only reason btc tx fees aren’t $100 is that 90% of the network upkeep is paid through inflation (900btc per day inflation and 100btc per day tx fees)
Crypto”currencies” just don’t work, no one has managed to scale them

Hard to tell honestly, but I would say yes. Fomo is strong in crypto for the unexperienced and the prospect of getting great returns on some low cap (or high cap, I mean it really doesn't matter if it's only available through DEXes) may outweigh the high "entry fee". I mean we're talking about buys in the 100-500$ range here and I don't think those matter that much anyways since that is most likely not "smart money", whales move the market and they certainly don't care about 100$ dex fees. I could be wrong though, like I said it's hard to tell.
