sure
i will unironically give you more info in this one post than most /biz/lets will absorb in years

1) ethereum is and will remain the dominant chain for smart contracts. it's the only project solving the trilemma of scalability, security and decentralization
other layer-1 blockchains sacrifice on some of these aspects for the sake of scalability. the most common casualty is decentralization. if a chain holds X% of their tokens for an official dev team, let alone venture capital, you've introduced centralization back into the system

2) fees are a reflection of usage, in that they reflect the amount of money people are willing to pay to interact with the ecosystem. so it is easy to boast of low fees if your chain is a ghostchain

3) layer-2 solutions are working on ethereum mainnet right now. loopring, matic (now polygon), xdaichain. these solutions let you pay negligible fees akin to most "eth killers", without losing exposure to the eth ecosystem

4) however, do note for short-term price action it is possible and even likely many layer-1 ghostchains can outperform ethereum and layer-2 ethereum projects. not only the public is uninformed and misguided, alternate chains where devs hold large amounts of the supply make for easier price manipulation

5) bitcoin is a dinosaur coin. there's nothing wrong with that in itself, it has acquired a spot as meme store of value, and permeated the boomer mainstream
longterm paradigm, there is bitcoin and there is ethereum. however the fight to secure ethereum's place in public perception will only play out over the next decade, whereas bitcoin's throne is firmly held

6) corollary to that, bitcoin cash, litecoin, nano, bitcoin sv or any other "better bitcoins" are worthless. in the long run most transactions will happen on ethereum layer-2s, using wrapped bitcoins if need be, and the remaining transactions on the bitcoin network will be high value. "bitcoin killers" have no reason to exist

eth 2 will never happen.

algorand is the future smart contract blockchain with minimal environmental impact, crumbs for fees, fast transactions, and huge amounts of stability, plus 7% APY
