nice, there isn't a lot of money in my family and my parents are still alive. although one silver lining of my parent's divorce is that they each have a house, a mortgage, and life insurance to cover it. at some point (hopefully many years from now obv) i'll inherit two fully paid off houses and what remains of their pensions. if i haven't got myself debt free by then, selling those will do it, or i could rent them out i guess.

still, i'd like to be able to get everything cleared myself. been messing around with stocks for a few months but i'm too much of a pussy to put any savings in, just playing with disposable income. how much capital would i need to start making significant gains in crypto do you think? (not asking for actual financial advice ofc)

There are several ways to start off:

if you have $2k or less to invest, you don't really have the luxury to diversify. Embrace shitcoins and try to PND them, going all in and then not pulling out with that kind of capital is braindead.
If you managed to do some 2x, and have around $15k-$20k, you can put 10k in "safe" coins like chainlink and have 2 puts in midcaps, 5k each or try some moonshots.

So yeah, unless you have 10k, then ngmi this bullrun, that train already left the station in the last cycle

Look into NU, it is a very good project and idea.
UNI is about to get some TOUGH competition so I wouldn't go there.
BNT, and ATOM I personally don't like but go ahead.
SNX is good.
LINK is essential.
Personally I think ETH will be dethroned at some point but for now it's a solid pick for alt season.

Honest to God, GRT gives me incredibly good vibes and is already being used to index data on a bunch of reputable cryptos.
This, added to the fact that it's on Coinbase, the (relatively) low MCap, and the "Google of Blockchain" motto make it a prime coin for this alt season.

Maybe Parsiq is better Tech but as a rule of thumb I only invest in coins on Binance or Coinbase.
The reason being that the "Bitcoin stock" crowd will not care about tech. they want quick, easy and reliable. Once Btc starts to drop and they migrate, very few are gonna notice Parsiq, and even fewer will know how to buy it.
