I am considering taking some profits and start mining. What would you suggest me to mine? Which GPU to buy? Electricity costs are kinda low for me...

Any help is appreciated

If you're talking about BTC, it won't be profitable unless you can afford an entire warehouse, that's just how tight the margins are. IDK about any other coin.

Oo with current eth prices you can get 8$ a day with 3060ti which would mean you could earn it in like 50 days if bought for msrp thing is you won't get it for msrp you would have to pay x2 price from scalpers and then it would not be so great, still ok I guess if eth goes to 3k

I'm bringing a second rig online today. It's very profitable even at regular electricity costs. I'll be mining eth. Current rig pulling about 0.72 ETH per month.. 1030w and 288 MH/s. New rig is six 5600xts pulling 40Mh each so 240 MH/S. Together they will net me approx 1.3 ETH per month at current difficulty and congestion. I paid 4150 all in for this new rig (leaf bux) and it should pay for itself in a few months. Mining is based don't let NOCOINERS and well-wishers convince you otherwise. Run HiveOS (super stable) and get to it if you can find GPUs at a reasonable price. I got some 5600s for 400 leaf bux tax in through the summer and fall.. just had to pay 599 plus tax for these new ones but I honestly don't give a fuck. It's a money printer. Pic rel is current miner winding out

Yes but guess what. I don't have to do jackshit for this. My time is valuable. And unless you're growing AAAA weed, there isn't enough money to be made. Everyone grows weed in Canada. Meanwhile, I'm generating eth passively. Next question.

I'd mine XMR and unironically Doge.
I never invested in Doge because it pays out the most to Miners, but it looks like it has a lot of support regardless.
XMR is going to get harder to acquire on exchanges, but the demand for privacy is going to increase as it becomes apparent that there's a communist revolution on the streets.

Just make sure you're powering your riser using a 6 pin connection, not Sata.. risers can draw more power than the SATA connectors are rated for and melt down

are you retarded? maybe get an ASIC or 2 if you can find them in stock and have a big enough house that you won't hear the noise.

>> No.28202138

Also, how do I position a GPU? Should it be standing on the riser or should it be laying down with riser on the side? I don't have a fancy grid or anything, literally just laying on the table for now.

Even with current prices it's extremely profitable. You can buy a new 2060 for 500 bucks and you'll be able to mine about 0.06 ETH a month with it, that's about a hundred bucks. So if your electricity is cheap that could be 90 bucks of pure profit and you'll make that cost of GPU back in less than half a year.

>> No.28203011

Actually yeah it could. One way they catch people growing weed is by flagging people who’s houses are using a lot of electricity since you need the bear to grow. They’ll also fly over your house with a FLIR camera and see if one particular spot in your house is white hot.

They still think its 2018.

ETH mining is VERY profitable. Just look at the price of it and the gas fees. Fudders dont want you to mine because its a steady stream of ETH to your wallet without doing anything.

Pic rel is about 14 days of mining with an average hashrate of 175. Do the math for you monthly Electricity bill + Internet bill. Yeah its worth it.

On GPUs a 3080 is probably the best in terms of price/hashrate/profitablity. Though it'll be pretty hard to find one.
Personally I'd suggest 3+ 3060ti's. They give good hashrate on low power and are fairly smalll so you can fit it in a regular ATX case. They might be slightly easier to find as well.

Add mining to staking, DCAing, and other strategies and you'll be rich off meme coins in no time.

Thanks for the insight anon, which mainboard and cpu should I get along with 3 3060tis, what will happen when eth switches to PoS?
Electricity is super expensive in my EU shithole but it will pay off in the long term for sure. Also, how stable is the whole thing? Does it crash often? Does the mining rig have to be babysitted like a few years ago?

Any good mobo will do but availability is also super hard on mobos and cpus. I hate to say it but if you don't already have a rig, you might have to go with an Intel Mobo/CPU since AMD availability is pretty bad still.

They've been saying ETH to PoS for years now. You have at LEAST until the end of the year until they start the process.

There will ALWAYS be a coin to mine anon.
