Lurk here. Read an in-depth book/watch an in-depth course on the workings of blockchain and finance (MIT has one pretty good free course on this, don't just watch something that tells you uhh blockchain those are blocks connected you know like lego XD, those simplistic ones are useless), so that you have full understanding of what all these defi coins and shit do.
Do the same for investing - learn how companies work, how you can find for yourself if one is undervalued etc.

While you're in the process of doing all of this, lurk /biz/ and you'll soon get an idea of how stuff works there, you can also throw down a few k's and try your luck with some coins if you feel like it, just make sure to do your own research and not fall for some scam.

After you have actual finance and technology/blockchain knowledge to back it up, you'll have no problems taking a look at any project shilled here or anywhere else and after 30 minutes to afew hours seeing if it has actual value, and if it does, you can go and look deeper into it and eventually invest. And make sure to diversify somewhat etc. etc. standard risk management.

Kinda forgot to add, going through just 1 book or course won't be enough probably, you have to keep up with it, if you bump into something you don't yet know very well about crypto/investing/finance etc. just find some material on it and keep doing that, eventually you'll have built up enough of a knowledge base.

invest into real estate and just use the Brrrr method. You can buy houses without ever seeing them also if you live in like commiefornia. just get a good property manager and inspector. Use an FHA on your own first house buy a multiunit and then rent out the other parts. This method will take you probably 8 years to become a millionaire but you'll enjoy evicting single mothers in the downtime.

Wait for the bear market before buying. The only cryptos worth buying are BTC, ETH and XRP. The first two because they're the most used. The third because I believe XRP has great potential since it has partnerships with many banks and companies. Never buy as a long term investment. It's pointless to as cryptocurrencies are highly volatile. Always buy low and sell high.
