It's a good long term hold because you can stake it easily. Coinbase is giving staking rewards at 6% apy. There's also the Algorand wallet you can get the app and stake from there. I don't remember the apy for the wallet but it's at least as good as coinbase. Staking rewards are given every 24 hours and there's no minimum tokens required.
