I can't see any reason why anyone would be scared of being in litecoin until nearer August 1st. I get that if miners meet deadline and segwit goes off without a hitch we'll see a dip obviously because a lot of bitcoin promised money is riding out the storm in litecoin. Trading volume is not the same as number of transactions. The average number of LTC transactions per day compared to BTC and ETH is usually about 10 times less. I don't think we can fully know right now if it can scale to those numbers but it is certainly the fastest, cheapest, and easiest to send compared to the btc eth in my opinion. I think Litecoin deserves a chance to see if it can scale more gracefully.

LTC is the main reason BTC miners decided to get segwit in the first place because they saw how well it worked on LTC. LTC isn't going anywhere. It may not grow as fast as BTC or ETH.. but it will grow and reach $100/coin eventually.
