it is fucking awful. it doesnt feel like a city. it's a bunch of pockets of suburbs. santa monica is a cluttered hellhole that feels like the worst tourist trap ever

there's nothing to casually do if you wanna just go for a walk. the young people living there are all miserable and dead inside. you need to drive 2 hours to go on a quick hike or visit a beach that isnt packed to the brim with losers

your dating life will go to shit. you wont have any good friends. everything will be more expensive

but at least the weather is nice

It's a GIANT suburb essentially that still manages to have fucking horrible traffic.
