Current valuation for MARA seems massively overpriced.

Recently purchased ASIC miners were supposed to bring hashrate up to 688PH/s, a 256% increase.
Using this we can infer a current hashrate of around 193PH/s.
Using average difficulty since the last filing of 1.3e+13, we can estimate they mined about 56.8/month, or about 170.4 BTC (~$6.5M) per quarter.
To put this in perspective, they recently purchased 4,812.66 BTC for $150M in cash (31,167/BTC). Mining revenue is almost nothing.

Doing some quick math on the book value:
In the September 2020 filing, they only held $451,889 of crypto. Assuming that's all BTC, that's about 45 BTC or so. If they held, this will have appreciated about $1.3M
Plus the value of the BTC they mined, another $6.5M assuming 0 power costs.
Plus the appreciation on the BTC they bought, about $33.7M
I'm ignoring the money they paid for the miners they bought & the book value of the miners. For simplicity assume they are roughly equal.
This would indicate an increase in book value of $41.5M, or about $0.44 per share. This is an optimistic estimate assuming they held all BTC to it's current price.

Mean price/book ratio for the past 5 years has been 4.6. This means that optimistically, the BTC price spike only represents about $2.02 "real" increase in price per share from September. Since then it has increased over $20.
Given the miniscule revenue they actually generate from mining, that doesn't really justify the price increase either.

If you want BTC exposure just buy BTC. This looks massively overhyped.
