So if I put 6400 of my link into their pool, then what reward am I getting?

The 15% APY from the link side of the pool? And thats guaranteed for 30 days? So I'd make 15% / 12 = 1.25% in a month on my link stack paid out in BNT?

Yes, based vitalik with gas fees keeping pajeets and poorfags away from this goldmine

The speed at which this team iterates is fucking crazy. Comparing Bancor now to 3 months ago it is insane how much has been achieved. With Arbitrum it’s going to completely change the game.

New minting cap proposal passing + Arbitrum = more space in the pools and cheap entry for poorfags = this is only going one way = wagmi

can someone explain what the BNT token does except governance?

>> No.28027989

you're goin to have to refresh multiple times and probably pay the transaction cost multiple times because it's really rare for there ever to be more than 2-3k space at a time. you could buy BNT and enter double-sided or just suck it up since you'll make it back in a few weeks anyhow

>> No.28028013

You can just buy it on coinbase for almost no fee

>> No.28028111

>>28028013
yes but there is potentially a lot more money to be made staking the stuff, and that involves fees that poories might not be willing to pay

Earns 70% of the swap fees in every pool (70/30 split), generates vBNT which can be used in the Bancor vortex (look up the simple explainer on YouTube) and soon will be paid a platform wide admin fee.
tl;dr it gets staked on the platform and gives you money in a bunch of different ways

The token economics are insane honestly. I expect Bancor to be the biggest AMM when it comes to trading high cap projects. Don't know if that'll be enough to take the number one spot but there's definitely a ton of room to grow. For shitcoins I think uni / sushi may keep their crown because ultimately single sided exposure and IL protection doesn't make much sense for low cap shitcoins that could be manipulated, it's just too risky.

>> No.28028817

>>28028673
its why i wouldn't be surprised if uniswap falls flat on its face once bancor gets a bit of steam

>> No.28029194

idk if im gonna make back the gas fees
i staked my eth and link a couple days back and paid about .5 eth gas fees total
the eth stack is earning alright but my tiny link stack isnt giving me shit and the fees are non-existent

Is 2k bnt enough for staking?

>> No.28029867

>>28028673
There have been discussions in the Bancor groups about how to compete with uni/sushi when it comes to brand new low cap shitcoins, but as far as I’m concerned the Bancor model isn’t suited to that market. Bancor should just aim for super deep pools of blue chips, let the other AMMs do micro shitcoins.

>> No.28029933

Is around 850 bnt enough for staking for 100 days?

Alright for what? What the fuck are these questions? You can literally do napkin math and figure out exactly how much you will stake and how much you will earn, and whether that’s worth it for you. How do you need our input?

>> No.28030622

>>28029867
Absolutely agree with you, while there is obviously a market for low cap shitcoins, large volume is where the real money is, and that only happens for high cap projects.
