BTC for comparison, LTC is 3 years 9 months behind BTC. My Target is 300-420 billion marketcap

How can you be sure this crypto will follow the same trend, though? BTC has an advantage of being a 'market leader' in crypto, while LTC does not

over time the coins in circulation get accumulated. about 4 years ago litecoin had a float of about 36-44 million based off the on chain information. Now that float is 20 million, within the next years that number will be less than 7 million.

For reference BTC has a float of about 1.5 million, 4 years ago that number was close to 7 million. LTC is on the same path, just with 4x the supply.

>> No.28020945

I mean...... LTC has to pump sooner or later........ right?

>> No.28021070

>>28020887
Love you anon. The assumption is people continue to horde at a similar or higher rate right?

>> No.28021075

>>28020945
it will not pump, it will melt faces. think doge on steroids b/c LTC is much more rare. Literally 20 million coins is nothing, the scarcity is real. In 4 years it'll be 7 million, and 4 years later it'll be 1.5 million.

>> No.28021158

>>28021070
i would argue the rate will only get faster as more of the market realizes what litecoin is. people buying under 400 will look just as smart as people that bought bitcoin when it hit 1k for the first time. it's a simple coin, just buy and hodl.

I hold a few of these things. I bought some in that 2017/18 bullrun but it hasn't done anything since. Why do you think ETH and BTC have done so well but LTC hasn't? It feels like the only coin that hasn't done anything since 2018

>> No.28021535

>>28021280
it's always been Q2 for Litecoin. Reasoning is that BTC got released 3 years 9 months earlier. So the 4 year cycle on LTC translates Q1 being slow, and Q2 being catching up. LTC has one large sustainable sprint, think of Q1 of the year as base building before going full monkey.

Price EOY? Should I trade my Uniswap and NuCypher for LTC?

I cannot offer you advice on DeFi, since I am old school. As for target i suspect MCAP to be BTCs 17 top MCAP roughly 300-400 billion.

>> No.28021828

>>28021535
Huh. That makes a good amount of sense. What is the unique value that Litecoin adds? BTC is the king and ETH does like a billion things. Isn't LTC just a more efficient BTC?

>> No.28022043

LTC is solving the fungibility problem, that has incredible added value since it makes LTC as good as cash in terms of utility. You can finally pay for your coffee without worrying about the recipient tracking your wallet history.

>Why do you think ETH and BTC have done so well but LTC hasn't? It feels like the only coin that hasn't done anything since 2018

How long have you been on this site? How long have you been on this board? Do you not see the billion and 2 developments happening on ETH? Did you not pay attention to a literal financial market blowing up on ETH? Why would you compare LTC to ETH?

>> No.28023382

Thanks for the info. I'll hodl until it catches up to BTC/ETH and then probably swap it out for ETH or BTC (or maybe a few other promising projects). No offense, but this coin moves very slowly so once it's done mooning, I see less of a reason to hold it

I'm not gonna defend my website usage to some faggot on an anime forum but BTC, ETH, and LTC have been considered the "big three" for a while now. I'm not saying they're equal in usage but I wanted to see why LTC had that reputation since I knew why BTC and ETH had it. Learn to read, retard
