You're not "making mad gains". Look at the % drop in BTC/USD. Then look at the % gain in LTC/BTC. Now compare them two. You're literally losing money.
And of course I know BTC is falling and will recover. But look at ANY alt coin chart when BTC pumped. It PLUMMETED.

Let's break it down more since you haven't graduated middle school yet.
Let's say Bob has $1,000 sitting on Gemini right now.
Let's say you have $1,000 worth of LTC right now. You and Bob are equally rich.
Now let's wait until August sometime, extrapolating current trends for BTC/USD and LTC/BTC.
Bob still has $1,000 sitting on Gemini. You have less than Bob because although LTC/BTC went up, BTC/USD went down more.
