As someone whos been investing in silver for about 8 months and have a little over 30 ounces, why isn't silver prices soaring when just about everything else is? If its not soaring now and things are supposedly bad with inflation and about to get even worse, why only a little bump and then a fall?

When will comex fuck off? Its stupid that I see hundreds of ebay completed auctions everyday for 1 ounce going for 38 to 40 dollars and then i see the spot price for $27 or some shit. If I was supposed to invest or even hold the value of what im buying, wouldn't holding silver mean I will always get less than Im paying for?

Simply that silver bullion is very scarce. The meme that tells you they pull 1 billion Oz of silver out of the ground a year is misleading because just over 4% of that becomes 99.99% the other 96% only ever reaches 92% to 96% aka junk silver. It takes a lot more effort to hit 99.99%. Bullion and industual silver are not the same by any measure. They are priced the same because that is how they tricked everyone into giving up their real wealth.

At some point these banks that have been hording silver will need to rebalance their books and silver bullion will end up in its own class or fiat currency will fail (its designed to do so) and the banks will issue there own currency and will have to back it by something or else no one will be interested in it. Crypto might seem like the future and the future of money is digital but after fiat fails people will need something much more real to believe in.

It's just cycles and following things along there natural progression. That why im so confident.

The best part is the banks have been keeping the price low so they can keep people out of the market and can buy it up for a fraction of the real price while they set them self up for the big bust.

I dont really see the point you're trying to make. Complaining about a 20% premium on silver when you can still get it for under $35 out the door is pointless because we've run the numbers and know that it is easily worth more than $1000 per ounce. You just admitted that precious metals will increase in value in a SHTF scenario. They will increase in value without a SHTF scenario, so both are a strong buy with silver being the even more undervalued choice.

It'll be a slow rollout initially. China is ground zero because it's relatively isolated from the western media and internet. Anything the CCO doesn't want to come out is wiped within hours, and that was before their retarded social credit went live.

UBI will be happily welcomed by a major part of the urban population. If you noticed, the last stimulus was sent via debit card, this means they have complete control over where you can and cannot spend the money. UBI is even worse because I assume it'll be given out illegal immigrants as well, so it'll encourage more of them to move here for free gibs.

Absolute beginner, no fucking idea what i' doing, but I did a little bit of research and everything I find seems to say there is some merit to bars/ 90 or 40%/ rounds/and coins.

By immediate thought, since buying silver is a hedge anyway, is that I should just buy a relative even mix of everything. Does that seem wise?

PLAN: Buy some mixture of coins, rounds, bars, and 40-90

But I have some questions

1. There are two dozen websites listed in the initial post for us buyers. Are the prices the same for - say, the American Silver Eagle 2021 across all. They seem to be within a few cents at least, but is there a general consensus on which site is the cheapest/fastest/etc?

2. For the example above. What is the difference between buying the ASE 20201, versus buying the one that is "certified" or whatever, stuck in a plastic case with a barcode thing, and cost like 40 dollars more.

Is that graded cert worth it? Do these certified coins maintain that +40 dollar value per coin in 20 years if i want to sell?

3. Why is there a price difference between the ASE 2021, and for example the canadian version, or the south African coin? It's all the same weight silver isn't it?

Thanks for the help boys.

>As someone whos been investing in silver for about 8 months and have a little over 30 ounces,

You are55 a green horn anon. I started investing in the first run up from 08 to 2010 which sadly include holding the bag on silver that I bought in them 30s and 40s.

As you have probably read Silver is heavily manipulated because of its utility as an industrial metal and competition as a currency it’s also a less liquid market than gold which makes her manipulation easier.

In either case I think silver is “fairly” values in the 25 range in that I think the manipulators are going to have a harder and harder time getting the price to new lows. Even the lowest trough last cycle never saw silver approach the 5 to 10 dollar range that existed from the 90s.

Metals are a long play and you most likely aren’t going to make gobs of money in a short period of time unless you buy and sell before a major run up.

So I'm going in on KXPLF tomorrow. Just in case the SEC is out for internet blood let me say that I am just an uneducated dummy from Texas, this is not advice, and I AM taking a position on bayhorse.

I've been buying $100 of physical every month since 2008. I sold 193 ounces to the guy at the front of our grocery store where people cash checks and pay bills. I think that was around $27/oz. No hassle, he counted them, passed them over a magnet and gave me the fiat in a big stack which I turned into a 2002 silverado and moved cities. This was after I graduated college. Then when I got to said city I went to a coin shop and dropped some rolls for enough fiat to get my apartment, deposit, and utilities turned on while I waited for my new job's checks to start rolling in. My dollar cost average has outperformed the market. I still buy $100 a month. I also have 401k and a vanguard IRA for diversity and retirement, but that physical is fun and it works.

General question.

So for example the 2021 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin is still just 1oz. But the spot is 11 dollars and the final price is 39 bucks.

A round is only 5 bucks over spot, but still 1oz and the final price is 33 bucks.

Both are 1oz, but the ASE 2021 coin is more expensive.

So my question is why is the coin more expensive than the round (just because of the US mint?) and in 20 years, will the coin still be worth at LEAST the price of 1oz in the future PLUS roughly the current difference between a 2021 coin versus a round?
Like, does that slightly increase price or value now carry with the coin, or is is safe to assume that worse case scenario than is 20 years that coin will only be worth the 1oz silver it contains?

Yes and no.. Pms are not an investment they are a hedge, as long as you're not a retard and go all into them it's alright, its supposed to be a safe haven, it doesn't moon like crazy but it also doesn't crash insanely.

Use other investments to grow your money so you can buy more metals.

I know deep down that pms are extremely manipulated and suppressed, it threatens the elites system so they throw everything into keeping it down. Its still nice having a part of your wealth into some physical tangible objects.

Make gains with crypto and then cash some out and stack metals imo.

And when we try to sell, it's a pain in the ass to, nearly impossible with cash. and highly taxed.
So many french frens sell their pm's in Belgium

Good, they blow their money on consumables and cause the most inflation in day-to-day items. This is good news for PMchads.

Buying junk silver is great if you're worried about the burglary meme. You could even mix it in with your regular change and only the most observant intruder would even notice it. Junk silver also crosses borders and goes through body searches easily.

It's just chain links closed together, literally the easiest form of jewelry to make and something that high schoolers regularly make with metal links. Why is it worth more than twice as much as the gold value?

Best french junk, Hercules (25g coins at 90%) are too big for that, but 5 francs semeuses (12g at 0.835) are very good.

Yes, opals are valuable, youd want natural gemstones. Stay away from diamonds They are artificially inflated, the only exception is red and pink natural diamonds, those have gone up 400% in the last years. Also check out moldavite its a cool green meteor which is getting rare and has gone up 10x.
Rubies are the most scarce out of all the gemstones.

You would need to know what you're doing regarding carats and clarity... Theres a lot of shady stuff in the gem industry. Also nowadays man made gems are flooding the market and are competing with the natural gems, lab grown gems are just like the natural ones while being a fraction of the price so many people are opting for those instead.

I think antique jewelry is a good investment but it takes a while to sell.

The super rich invest in that kind of stuff. Something rare collectible with a low supply is likely to go up in time. Like a rare antique painting, they know you can print more money or mine more gold but you can get more antique collectible pieces of history.

Yeah I did and I'm a piece of shit. I'm sorry. If there's anything I can do to make it right please let me know. I feel like a piece of shit. All I can say is that I'm a hot head and at times talking shit online makes me feel better. It's like a past time and now it's come back to bite me. Sorry dude. Normally I just take that shit out in the gym but sometimes it carries over.

Im in TX. I might have an opportunity to travel in a couple of months and can devote six months to learning if you were still offering to teach me. I'd do anything to learn. Grunt work. Office work. Field work. I'd do it and do a great fucking job. Enthusiastic attitude every fucking day. Wouldn't expect anything.

You would need to have 14k 18k gold or make your own allow mixing 58% pure gold with 42% copper and silver to make 14k gold. You don't need that much theres cool YouTube videos of people making jewelry from scratch, places like India and Thailand have huge jewelry industries and people there make them with extremely basic tools..

Safes are a bright "come steal me" beacon, just poke around your house looking for good hiding spots. Under/behind insulation, buried in a crawlspace, stashed in hollow spaces under built-in drawers, in air vents etc.
