How do I invest in BTC, RBC, ALGO, DOGE, LINK, ETH, LITE, and MORENO as a Canadian. Which exchange allows this?

Would Kraken let me do it?

I'm in one of the few states that they don't allow crypto.com to transfer funds to and from my bank in the US. As for buying the crypto, it's been on different exchanges like gate.io, bilaxy, mcx, hotbit, probit. gate.io and mcx have been my two most preferred.

I use Newton to buy USDT, BTC and ETH. Some of those coins can be found on Binance. In this case, just create an account there and send the coins you buy on Newton to your Binance wallet. For some other coins (the really new shitcoins) you have to use a decentralized exchange like Uniswap. Download Trust Wallet (Binance sponsored wallet app), buy ETH on Newton, send it to your Trust Wallet, there you have the selection of many dapps like Uniswap, Sushiswap etc where you can get shitcoins. But I do not recommend it because it's expensive.

Are things like Trust Wallet safe?
I'm confused what about the 3 different cold wallets that are recommended. Can you not store the new shitcoins and moreno on them?

Trust Wallet is safe as any other wallet. I think you can store any coin in Trust Wallet.

Use Newton or Shakepay as your brokers. Granted you should know they've both been swarmed with accounts and ridiculously slow to validate, including myself.

Kraken is what I've been using in the meantime. The downside is they don't accept basically anything you have to offer other than a direct in-person payment at Canada Post. Expect the teller to not know what the fuck you're talking about, so just show up there with Kraken open in a browser on your phone with the QR code ready (It's something you generate when you click on the IPP option for CAD Deposits). They'll scan in, it (should) work and then you can tell them to toss in anywhere from 20-500 CAD.

Friendly bit of advice. Do NOT make identical deposits cause if so they'll lock any extra ones you made to manually verify if they're legit and this can take 1-3 days. Do 500, 499, 488, etc if you're tossing in a lot of money. But really, this is just in case you're really impatient because the post will charge 3.85$ per maxed out deposit you make and Kraken 2.50$ as it goes in. In the future, Newton or Shakepay will be ideal since they allow interact / e-transfers.

So TL;DR. Buy crypto in a Canadian friendly brokerage, move coins to an exchange like Kraken/Binance. Then god will sort out if you're gonna make it.

Coinbase works in Canuckland. Coinsmart is another option.
