$3000 to $250k over the last year. After taxes I'll have around $150k which I'll use to turn my freelance work (which I love) into a full time business. It may not be making it to some of you guys, but this brings me some level of happiness and I control my destiny now. I don't know what the future holds, I'll still need to keep working, but I think this is the end of my waging.
>All the hours spent sitting in traffic
>All the ignorant customers
>All the annoying coworkers
Gone. And you know what? That's something, and I'm happy. For now. Goodbye anons

Trading shitcoins, which is exhausting and creates a greater tax burden than just holding hence getting cucked on cashing out. I'm just exhausted of it all and I don't want to spend another year of my life refreshing biz all day. This isn't what I want to do with my time, so I'm leaving the casino while I'm up to do what I want. I already make decent money from my side job, it's just the financial cushion I have now to focus on it fully and expand here and there. I'll honestly only need about 50k for what I need for it, the other 100k I'll invest elsewhere (but not crypto)

Exactly. (OP phone posting now btw). I wasn't a poorfag, i just saw a realistic out from waging and I took it. Yeah I could gamble on another 4x to hit 1 million but I actually enjoy being productive so yeah I'm gonna fucking jump at this chance to follow my dream

Based. If you're happy living modestly you really only need 1 million or so to completely achieve FIRE. Once you've reached that point throw most of it in an index fund like VTI/VOO and live off the average 50k<= or so a year that generates for you passively.

The only thing you have in life is time, so I'd be more than happy to sacrifice some extra material comforts if it means I can stop wagecucking a few years earlier. People should really orient themselves towards that way of thinking more, stop trying to out earn shit spending habits.

>>27973159
>>27973292
Proud of you OP, you made the right choice. Plenty of people here keep on chasing more until they eventually lose all their gains, if you want to keep your wealth you need to set a realistic limits and cash out at that point. Best of luck with your freelance work.

Awesome anon, good for you. Hope you succeed and make you’re life exactly what you want it to be. This is exactly what I want to do as well, just need about 50k to pay off my student loan and have enough leftover to quit my job and build my business for 6 months. Hope I make it, this is the portfolio right now, down $600 today but hodln strong. Wagmi.
