srac is a spac that is merging with momentus, which is developing point to point deliveries for space. they dont do launches, and instead will taxi up with space x soon. space x will deliver their vehicle to orbit in the next couple months so they can test it out. that launch was supposed to occur on the 12th or something but was delayed (this caused a dip in january). another dip was due to the fact that their ceo had to resign because he's russian and the issues with having a russian national at the head of a space program. I bought at 10.50 and again today at 25. probably should have waited till it dipped to 22-23 as it has for the last several weeks, but i had money to spend and was impatient. also didnt want it getting away from me without stacking some more. we will see if it follows the normal track of losing some value after the merger is complete (something spacs usually do). i dont think that will happen with this one though.

First, you zoom out. If the company's ATH is behind it, that is a big red flag.
Second, check the sentiment on Stocktwits. Stocktwits is just a copium machine, but if you correct for the hype you can get a good feel for whether the stock is 'hot'.
Third, ask yourself whether the /smg/ shill you heard about the stock from is too desperate. Everyone likes to shill their fav stock. I plug PLTR, NNDM, and BILI every now and then, but I don't do it 24/7 because I think those stocks speak for themselves and will go up regardless of my input. The Aquabounty shill is good example of someone who is too desperate.
Finally, use your common sense. Would you buy the product that's being shilled? Can you see it becoming an integral part of the new economy? Use your head.

Remember, if you have a lump sum, you're better off investing it fully in the market immediately rather than DCA'ing over time. This is because markets go up more than they go down so even if you invest it all now and the market crashes next year, you at least go the benefit of the run up before the crash. If you had DCA'd over the year you still would have suffered the crash but you wouldn't have the advantage of your money growing before it happened.

i'll use thinkorswim's scanner, top 10 gain/loss lists, trader tv if i'm bored, live news.
also TDA's research tab for stock profile and fundamentals (balance sheet, income statement, SEC filings). also options research for highest volume options traded for any unusual positions or tickers.
then for TA i just use the disparity index for timing entry and exit, pic related. just has super consistent supports and resistances. it's reliable but not infallible. good for scalp trading mean reversion but also timing longer term entries as it adjusts depending on the interval used.

PLTR is absolutely not a decent company. Their business model is not scalable, and they will drown in support and maintenance of all the meme contracts they just got.
Also their CFO has no real finance background, which is very scary.

The thing about GME is that hodlers are like a cult. The worst thing is that cults tend to become more fanatic, because the more moderate members leave.
There's never been an apocalyptic cult that disappeared just because the apocalypse didn't happen when predicted; you lose a few followers, but the same gullibility that made most cult members members makes it easy for them to swallow excuses for why the apocalypse didn't happen. Broadly speaking it breaks down to two options: the timing of the prediction is a little off, or the Apocalypse actually *did* happen, people aren't attuned enough to the esoteric truth to see. We're seeing *both* flavors of rationalization in GME believers: the squeeze is yet to come, two weeks from now and the squeeze happened and hedgies are already in trouble.

I like AQB long term. Normal fish can't get as big as Aquabountys mutant cancer fish. Plus I heard that they eat less. You can probably feed them onions based feed too which is cheaper. All together that is two ways that the inputs for raising these fish are less. And the output of a really big aids fish. I think this makes for a competitive advantage. The other reason this is a good stock is that I heard that NAK is getting sued for for their mines killing the places where regular non-retarded small salmon like to live. And AQB likes to make salmon farms on land which I think is really cool and innovative to be able to raise fish out of the places where water naturally is.

It's acrually a really good stock because they thought of all these different ways that they can make salmen cheaper and and in different places than their competitors might have
