5.56 is common enough and there's enough recognized standards I feel like you could get an exchange of at least one very common variant, maybe even a few; a556coin, b556coin, etc. Have a central exchange for physical delivery on settlement date, with satellite exchanges conveniently located around the country. Settlement date A rounds are delivered to the nearest exchange. Settlement date B all rounds arrive at the central exchange. Settlement date C rounds are available for physical receipt at the nearest exchange. This avoids having to use the mail system, which would leak PII.

That's the crux of it. American life is too comfy if you're not a retard to get too uppity. They've done an excellent job walking the fine line of boiling the frog to not cause an uprising. That said, a huge amount of the US population has formal military training. Not just firearm ownership, but firearm use, is highly prevalent. Obesity is overplayed, especially amongst those that would be taking up arms. Organization is also not bad. Why do you think (((they))) are reeeeing about domestic "terrorism?" The government has a really shitty track record. Any justified and minor use of force by police is routinely called into question. The Bundy boys have repeatedly out chickened federal troops. Federal forces cucked and let a mildly upset crowd take the Capitol. Armed militias have successfully taken multiple state capitols in the last year. There's no way you win a guerilla conflict in the US. THe last time federal forces actually managed to do anything, Ruby Ridge and Waco, it was a massive disaster, multiple federal casualties from ad hoc forces (federal troops got BTFO by a 14 year old) , and caused massive negative public sentiment despite the media doing its best to run interference. And drone strikes are literally useless. You kill one family and convert a thousand more.
