27862604 No.27862604 [Reply] [Original]

Crypto oldfag here. Made 8 digits back in 2017 and cashed out crypto.
I didn’t know shit then as a 19y/o and just went along with biz hypes such as XVG, ReddCoin, DigiByte and few others.

I started a company in finance/insurance and I got familiar with money, markets and investor-relations and blah blah.

I‘m reviewing the markets since Covid as big shifts are happening.

The problem I see with crypto that it is hyper-over valued.

How can a team of 5-10 or even 20 codebitches create a value of more than 500m within 1-2 years?

I tend to think that crypto is the next big revolution (same thing happened with letters and email) BUT these numbers don’t make any sense.

Just buy a coin with sub 5M market cap that has some solid marketing, active Twitter and GitHub and your x50 is guaranteed. It works every time.

>pic related happens every god damn time.

How to filter shitcoins:
-1 dev
-Org team rarely answer on Telegram
-Sub 20 Backlinks

If its so obvious and easy you should have 100s of millions by now, no? We know most of this crypto is overvalued for the value it provides currently, current valuations are pricing in the possibility of crypto becoming the de facto future of finance and siphoning all money from tradfi

Nothing in particular to be honest. I am generally thinking about the big picture - which coin is going to be used by the banks and institutions in the future?

Crypto market cap is 1T which is a joke compared to other monetary systems.

It is only a matter of decades until FIAT money shares declines and crypto takes over.

all altcoins are massively overvalued. every single one of them is trying to ape "store of value" in their own little world, and the numbers simply dont add up

its why late adopters being glued to the bitcoin dominance chart have no idea what they're doing. the altcoin house of cards never collapses, it just moves from alt to alt, silently.

For example you can weed out pajeet coins. Pajeets are very experienced in creating websites thus marketing a good shitcoin.

A backlink analysis will provide you with what they are doing and with whom.

If the dev team really cares about their marketing, you will see quality backlinks where they got featured on with meaningful content.

If you don‘t drop your bags.

Just browse /biz/ after 11pm for candidates, take a look on the marketcap on coinmarketcap, never buy a coin that has low supply on coins (people love it if 1 unit is like $0,003 USD instead of $3), check the Telegram/Discord (Bonus if Slack), check their backlinks.

If all seem good congratulations you are atleast gonna x2-3 your money. Keep doing that for 1-2 years and you made it.

Never got in touch with reef. You‘d have to check if these backlinks arised organically or if the CEO just launched a marketing campaign to get more bagholders he can dump his bags on.

Reef has already a mcap of over 50M. You can easily buy ALOT backlinks with couple hundred grands.

I‘m not saying it‘s good or bad but I can say tell you with that kind of money you can easily fake backlinks.

At that stage you should focus/notice other factors. If a 3-man dev team reached a marketcap of 50M, you should expect more devs, a nice office in NY/LA etc., more frequent updates, more professionalism and so on.

The problem with shitcoins is that they can reach couple million market cap until they are caught redhanded being pajeets.

A backlink is kind of a trust signal. It made someone specifically write about something and even link it, which means it has some value. More backlinks means it must be valuable because many people are linking them.

Check the backlinks of big companies near your area and that of a small company. There is a correlation.
