Gambling on anything is already a sign of poor mental health, so probably a ton. Like I only throw money at the pajeet coins here when I'm going through a break up or some other heavy shit

I think a huge amount of the population is fucked up due to the lockdowns and restrictions. I work in the auto insurance industry and there's been a large spike in road-rage induced accidents. A lot of people are having mental health issues it seems.

This statement is idiotic
Gambling within your means, while sticking to a budget, etc., is a leisure activity. Dopamine, etc., are released when you "win" so of course it's enjoyable to gamble and win. So people do it for fun.
As long as a budget is adhered to, and the cost is reasonable (with no expectation of a return on the money spent), how is it unhealthy?

Just yesterday some guy was going ballistic in the grocery store I was at because of it. Screaming about the line and calling everyone cocksuckers. The funny thing is, you wait in line just as much now in the store, they just have all the tills lines combined into one, which actually feels more efficient and I find myself waiting in line at the till for less time on average even though the line is 5x as long. But ya, people are taking this stuff pretty hard, and its obviously being reflected in the markets.

I kind of think that most o these people would have found some other way to fuck their lives up and kill themselves though.

Honestly I think they enjoy losing. When you cling to a victim mentality long enough it starts to define your entire persona.
