my brother threw a tantrum during the 2018 crash and sold at the bottom. You never hear from those guys again online. There will be newfags this time around who will refuse to sell until it goes -95%

Thank you frens. It's just after 7 years of watching charts I not only want to retire, I need to. I feel completely broken inside and have no life or energy anymore. I hope we all make it before the music stops this time

What kind of idiot do you have to be to cash that much out as once? You should only sell your BTC as needed.

similar story fren. Bought 3 btc in 2013. Got mtgoxed and lost 2 btc. Now im stuck in six figure hell. Also cant cash out, 24% tax. fuck

I have it even worse. Bought 20 BTC in 2013. Lost them all through scams and hacks in same year.

Left with 2 BTC in 2017, did bad trades, but managed to keep the 2 BTC intact.

Too much PTSD from the last two bull cycles, can't get myself to trade because I fear I will fuck it up. Stuck in 5 figure hell since 2017.

A fearful and traumatized idiot I guess. I literally FOMOd the 2013 top and had to sit through a brutal bear (much worse than 2018-19). After that I got too careful and always played it too safe.

>>27844793
Sorry to hear that fren. I have to pay over 30% taxes every time I cash out. Would have been comfortably in the seven figures if not for taxes...

>>27845193
Damn man, that is fucked up. I know what you mean about the PTSD... Hold on to your btc I'd say, who knows, it might go to a million one day. I had over 200 at my absolute peak. Should have just held.

>>27845706
I stuck with it but I stopped believeing which was the worst part. All the true believers like the linkmarines truly made it in the end. Anyway, the game is not over yet so maybe we can still make it right.

No I let them go finally. Now holding mostly small to mid cap DeFi, some btc and some stablecoins waiting to buy. Anything you'd recommend?

you forget that the majority of newfags have no idea what they are doing and they probably panic sold during the last dip, or will commit other common mistakes like never taking profits or buying worthless shitcoins and holding them all the way to -90%

If you're afraid of a major correction, you should swap for stablecoins on a non-kyc exchange. Cashing out is bad enough, let alone putting yourself into an extremely high tax bracket by cashing out at once. I don't think a major correction is imminent, though.

Fortunately, you got in crypto early enough to slide to financially independence with little foresight required.

I also used it back then. Bought a lot of food for btc back in 2015-16. Very hard to find places that accepted btc.

Keep your eyes open, many possible gems still to come.

>>27847348
Why not? Personally would be more likely to share losses than wins online

>> No.27848247

Yeah I guess you have a point. Probably most of the fresh millonaires will keep holding until the very end and not take profit. Or maybe I'm just coping because of my own failure.

2017 was really the best year of my life lol. So hard to get back to that level both in portfolio and euphoria levels

I am so pissed I missed this year's bull market, I completely forgot about crypto until I started seeing it on the news again.

I'm not going to buy at the top again, that's for sure. But I am definitely going to accumulate a as much as I can after it goes back down. Hoping to accumulate around $30-50k worth over the next 1-2 years waiting for the next big pump. Going to try and buy $1-2k per month or something like that.

Where do you guys think we're at in terms of incoming correction? I always have terrible FOMO, how long will "altseason" last? A couple more weeks, or will this start I remember 2018 it felt just like this before the big selloff. I don't want to miss out on more potential gains but I know it isn't the best time to get in.

>> No.27849083

>>27848331
I think this may be the last chance for rags to riches pump. This bull season is far from over. Bitcoin is only barely 2x from previous high of 20k. Last season bitcoin went 1k >20k. A 20x and pulling all these random shitcoins 50x~100x before everything dies after it reaches its peak .

Well to me this almost feels like the greed/delusion phase of the mania, similar to late 2017. But then there are so many people saying that it is just getting started, like >>27849083
so I'm not sure what to believe anymore
