chainlink foolishly attempts to get in between the block and the chain while totally usurping the role of the chain and adding "link" to its function, which is unnecessary. the block and the chain are already connected, there is no linking needed. they are already linked, and the chain is already present upon the block.

my opinion is based on the following. 1: btc is obviously in a bullrun. 2: the only reason to buy alts is that you expect it to outperform btc. 3: link broke its bullish trendline against btc and has failed the retest. 4: most other alts are now gaining against btc making them an obvious buy over link. my thesis is that market participents are making a rational choice by choosing an alt that is gaining against btc instead of chainlink which is currently shitting the bed against btc. its unfortunate but until staking is released the market will avoid link because of simple technical analysis.
