27830850 No.27830850 [Reply] [Original]

Shake holders receive a MILK2 drop every 100,000 blocks, which is about every 2 weeks.

There are 6.9 MILK2 tokens per blocks which equals 690,000 MILK2 per 100,000 blocks.

Divide this among the 569 SHAKEs in supply, and you’re looking at 1212 MILK2 dropped to every SHAKE holder.

At a current price of $3.45, each SHAKE holder would receive about $4000 worth of MILK2 every 2 weeks.

So quick recap, cause there is some confusion.
A snapshot is taken every 100,000 blocks (roughly 17 days) then 1% of the minted MILK2 (for this time-period) is shared between SHAKE holders according to the following rules:
< 1 SHAKE : 0
>= 1 SHAKE and <= 4 SHAKE : x1
> 4 SHAKE and <= 10 SHAKE : x4
> 10 SHAKE : x8

Distribution example for 20550 minted MILK2 and 505.57 existing SHAKE (data comes from last MILK2 distribution and current SHAKE holders)
10.04 SHAKE: 749.35 MILK2
4.004 SHAKE: 149.40 MILK2
1.000 SHAKE: 9.3267 MILK2

>assuming assumptions
MILK2 + SHAKE reaches $100 mil mc ($66 mil MILK2, $33 mil SHAKE)
holding 1 SHAKE would yield $480 / month
holding 4.001 SHAKE would yield $480 / month

They will further incentivice shake, many things are coming for shake alone and I would buy shake before the news gets out. They have hinted this on many occasions in the TGs.
And btw the snapshot is taken every block but only block 100K will give rewards. In other words you need to HOLD shake during that time.

More than one shake will give you rewards, 1.5 shakes will give you 1.5* the reward 1 would.
At 4 and then you get more like you mentioned.

I looked at their FAQ again.
Right now only 6.9 MILK2 tokens are generated per block as in to counter inflation.

This means 690'000 are generated per 100k blocks.
3% of 690'000 = 20'700 MILK2
1% of 20'700 = 207 MILK 2
207 / 569 = 0.36
0.36 * $3.5 = $1.26

These are my calculations if all holders had 1 SHAKE which is obviously not true, but just for sake of simplicity.
SHAKE holders get 1% of the 3% of all minted MILK2.

3% of 690'000 = 20'700 MILK2
33.33% of 20'700 = 6899.31 MILK2
