People go where the eyes are at and normies dont want to go to 20 different platforms, they want everything on one platform with notifications and subscriptions and all that bullshit. There is way too much competition in this space for some no name to come in and squeeze a position among the already established players.

I am a computer scientist, there is nothing blockchain offers this space unless there is a miracle and censorship gets unreal levels like north korea and the information itself literally becomes illegal. Under US laws just having your own servers is secure enough. The censorship has been by the platforms themselves not because of some draconian laws. Building your own platforms with your own hardware is the simple answer and this kind of tech isnt needed. It is a novelty and will never compete with the big boys using the conventional model
