This thread is for the discussion of KDA, the only blockchain that will be able to actually implement De-Fi without 100$ gas fees.

>information
The technology behind kadena was orriginally developed at JP Morgan and chase, the founders and staff of kadena include the 15 year
director of JP morgans blockchain center, and the technical lead for the SEC's Cryptocurrency Steering Committee.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/oluwaseunadeyanju/2020/01/23/jp-morgan-spinoff-kadena-is-bringing-scalability-to-pow-blockchain/?sh=220948876ec9
https://www.kadena.io/team

Kadena is a Layer one blockchain that has both private and public chains,
this allows for smart contract deployment within the kadena blockchain using kadenas own smart contract laungage called pact.
https://pactlang.org

Kadena is able to hit 480,000 transactions per second with gas fees costing a fraction of one cent
https://decrypt.co/39126/jp-morgan-kadena-blockchain-transactions
It is so fast that it can be used to encapsulate TCP data.

There is allready a testnet version of kadenaswap which will be far faster, and far cheaper than uniswap.
https://kadenaswap.chainweb.com

THe Kadna team will be having an AMA on telegram with one of the founders tomorrow 2/5/21
https://twitter.com/kadena_io/status/1357434355669471237

Dont sleep on this one anons, you missed link, doge, eth, btc, dont miss this one.

Hotbit.io is the best exchange right now sirs.
>>27780600
Well most projects trying to "kill eth" are erc20 token that are operating within the ETH blockchain, Kadena is its own version of eth, complete with ASIC miners, GPU miners and its OWN version of erc20 tokens.
You cant realistically use an erc20 to fix eth if the problem is eth its self.
as for other layer one blockchains, the kadena team has been doing a really good job of putting out training resources and things like that.

The problem with ETH is that its like linux, there are not really any people who are "officialy" able to teach the solidity language to others, kadena is open source still but they are like microsoft in that they make their blockchain easier to understand for big companies and easier to impliement, this is huge.

anon i.. why pay double the taker fee on a chink exchange when you can use the basedmetro exchange recommended by assblaster himself

also interesting take, can we have a real discussion about eth killers right now?
i know my shit when it comes to almost all of the crypto projects
but i always avoided eth killers like the plague, hoping for you to bring the knowledge

first off, what are the eth killers right now and why won't they succeed

ada
avax
algo
kda

what else?
as far as i know algo and ada have their own blockchain

>Furthermore, the exchange states on its website that it is registered in Hong Kong and Estonia, but neither the Estonian Authorities nor the Hong Kong authorities have ever heard of the exchange or the company owning the exchange (one user actually checked, we were forwarded the email threads where the Estonian Authorities and the Hong Kong Authorities clearly state that Hotbit is not registered in their respective countries).

Im somewhat knowledgeable, I know solidity well and know pact and understand the technical side more than most but im certainly no CS major.

My problem with ADA and algo is that its using proof of stake, which I think is inferior to proof of work, and if nothing else I think proof of stake has a large chance to end with whales manipulating the market.
>>27781433
Hmm.. maybe im just a pleb, ive been using hotbit just fine, KDA is on a few exchanges, would it be better to give people the link for bittrex?

>> No.27782222

>>27781646
sounds hot, redpill me on the proof of work they have, does is require a lot of every etc etc
see our main problem should not be just tech, but adoption.
eth is too big, too adopted, people won't just stop using eth and move to a better alternative, no matter how irrational that might sound, that's also the reason i dont like buying ethkilers, its literally betting against eth, everything runs on eth for better or for worse.. often for the worst kek

>>27781646
>would it be better to give people the link for bittrex?
i dont get it, you shill kda but have never heard of coinmetro?
here is a quick rundown
>regulated and complaint
>Instant USD/EUR/GBP/AUD/SEK fiat on and off ramps
>Lowest fees in the industry
>XCM their native utility token which will 100x over the next few years
>Margin trading
>Copy Trading
>Tokenised securities platform, the one thing people keep trying and failing to build and
>24/7 support via chat and email, the best in the industry
>Active and transparent CEO who does weekly AMAs where he answers literally every question
>lists gems like link, qnt, prq - doesnt charge for listing, only wants good projects on their site whom they can work with etc
its why they listed kda, but truth be told, the only thing that didn't explode yet is kda..

CHECKED!
> redpill me on the proof of work they have, does is require a lot of every etc etc
Im not sure what you are asking here fren, but the POW uses Blake2S as the algo and right now you can mine on a CPU GPU or even better Ibelink makes an ASIC called the BM-K1.

I agree with you 100% about the adoption, thats why KDA excites me, if you look on their git or the pact lang website they are doing a great job of adding things that make developers lives easier, even just good documentation on their language is a big help.
I also think these guys will have an easier time selling their block chain to companies, most companies are hesitant to invest in ETH, its just made by some russian boy in his basement (this is what they think), but kadena is made by former corporate people, and I would argue they have a good understanding of what a business is really looking for in a blockchain solution.

I have never heard of coinmetro, honestly, haha Ill look into them though, they sound alot better than changbit.
