What's the best car to show people you mean business?

If you were to take a very important client out to lunch which car would you drive them in?

Volvo s60. The chairs in them are designed by doctors and are extremely comfortable which will allow my client to feel more comfortable.
Plus everyone in my area drives a BMW, Audi, Porsche, or a Mercedes.
No one drives a Volvo around here so it'll make things a bit different for the client.

Volvo's a good one since it's a sensible choice for a business sedan without the show off factor the German ones are associated with.

You never see some ghetto drug dealer in a Volvo.

I'd walk. Few of my clients are paraplegics.

If somehow I did end up dealing with a lot of local clients I'd buy a Volvo. Maybe an A6. I wouldn't want a cunty BMW or a brand-whoring Mercedes. Not that they're bad cars, but that's the vibe they give. I want something a bit more understated for dealing with other people.

I use either the further one away (S550) or the closer (E350) both are 2014 models.

Most older guys get all explody in the knees fir the S550 while younger guys love the E350

Anything German and new. Volvos are good, especially models like the S60R. A BMW 5 series achieves a similar result too. I'd avoid Mercedes though.

If you want to impress anyone, stay away from American and Japanese cars. American cars give an air of being uncivilized, and unless you happen to find a Toyota Century chilling in your country of residence (they were only sold in Japan), Japanese cars give off a childish boy racer vibe.

Well fuck me, then. Having a driver changes everything. The S550 is a car to driven around in.

I would not go for a SLK350. I haven't driven it, but I hear the 6 cylinder doesn't mix that well with it for whatever reason. I'd take a look at the new Z4, honestly. I do like the SLKs electrochromic sunroof window.
