Ok lads, this is Chancoin/Andy, here is the situation.

Evidence would suggest that the largest attacker so far has around 0.4gh/s which due to the way Chan Coin currently adjusts difficulty is able to drive the block difficulty up to around 600.

At this difficulty, finding a new block can take hours or days, with the gpu hashing power of Chan-Coiners.

@metagame has said that they are working on Gravity Well, an update that will change the way Chan Coin adjusts for difficulty, and should allow the network to recover from attacks easier.

In the meantime, it seems the only way to keep transactions moving is to rent hashing power equal to that of the attacker. Because renting hashing power is expensive ($80 USD/Day), it is best if everyone (who is interested in earning some Chan Coin), take turns renting. A mining rental channel in discord dedicated to keeping track of who's turn it is, how long they are renting, and who is going next is he best solution.

I am begging the 4chan community on my knees to help by paying to rent hashing power and to buy coins.

Lol, nice larp.
Devs already are implementing the gravity well update to solve the low hash rate problem until they get more people mining.

I don't understand the logic here: the devs burned shitloads of the coins already

No, not for free. But they have 6 million (!!!!) Coins!
How many do you have?
They literally have 99% the coins currently available. Noone will ever spend money on this shit as the coins are ridiculously inflated.

I have 20 with the hope of getting 4 out of the dice game :^)
> How much should developers be paid?
Less than 6 million between the three of them? The value of the coin has decreased significantly as of late so little opportunity to cash out.
