its a gamble like any other stock sure. But atleast this one has Air Canada backing it and is an actual proven company with products that work and are testing constantly. Their track record is great for product output and they seem to have their shit together with Government relations. One of the hardest issues facing canada is safe air delivery, especially to more remote towns and settlements. if this works out well this could fully shake up the delivery industry within Canada and we would hopefully be at the forefront

very much this lol, idk when having actual products and revenue stopped becoming important. Although I think the real money will be in their SaaS offerings. If they can just license out firmware updates and software to delivery companies to use with their own hardware (like what looks like is happening with air canada), their margins will probably be a lot higher and a lot more scalable than if they try to be the delivery service like a skipthedishes with drones or something.

make a coinbase account, then buy btc or eth (or 50/50), and do more research on different exchanges like kraken, or different wallets like metamask/trustwallet/electrum/etc. But desu I think coinbase is good enough for newbies, and you can use coinbase wallet if you want it off an exchange.

With robinhood, paypal, wealthsimple, etc, you never own your crypto, and you dont really have the option to transfer it to a different wallet if you dont want to use that exchange. They have total control and you're at their mercy for everything from the price the offer to buy/sell, or even if they allow you to sell when you want. You should always be allowed to transfer your crypto whenever you want to whatever wallet you want (on that network, dont send eth to a btc wallet or vice versa), full stop.

Actual brokers like fidelity that charge a fee for each trade are way less prone to the bullshit that other smaller brokers have to go through though, and they probably aren't doing as much shady backroom deals with people who have a vested interest in the markets. Personally I recognized I was too late for GME and made $300 off AMC instead. Whoever masterminded the GME incident was a genius and has created what will likely remain the most impressive artwork of the year.
