I dl'd some things from gh that use the yahoo finance api, but they're slowish, and since they output on a terminal with brail, do don't get much >1 lineone the screen, and you don't get much detail/resolution, hence the question.
I though about building my own in matlab (the only legit lang i know), but then again I think of the speed at which it would have to dl, say, 5y of data
