Hello gents, I hope you’re enjoying “working” from home, doing absolutely nothing. Now that much of the r*ddit riffraff has gone, we can be comfy in peace.

I do hope you’ve got a substantial raise since this started.

>no boss looking over my shoulder
>no commute
>never been comfier
>never been paid more to do less work
>never going back to the office

BASED
The guy who was my boss for the past two years was kind of a hardass, but only because he really cares about both his job and my professional development (commies might not believe this but it’s true). But he got promoted and my new boss is an Indian lady I have been working alongside for a while and she’s really the nicest lady and doesn’t give a fuck what I do as long as I talk to her for a couple minutes every couple of hours. It’s funny, I used to want to kill myself working next to her in the office because her voice grates on my nerves but from a distance I really like her. Lol
I have put 1500 hours into Escape From Tarkov, read Les Miserables, and several other fantastic books since I started working from home

Brainlet here. Is there any way they can track my mouse/keyboard activity through VPN or spyware on company PCs or something.

If it's a company laptop you never know what is on it, but most companies are run by boomers who are too stupid to do something like this. The job landscape probably incorporates that shit more in 10 years, but the information teams gives now is very thin and basically amount to activity time (away or not) and rate of messages you responded to or ignored.

Thanks anon. Yeah I move the mouse a bit every few min. so Teams doesn't think I'm away.

>company laptop
Fortune 500 IT here. We have an internal tool that locks the laptop if the owners face isn't visible on webcam for a certain time (10 minutes by default)

I wouldn't doubt it's possible, but I really don't care about it until it's my problem. My webcam is covered over and it doesn't see anything most of the day.

It was supposedly developed for "security reasons", to make sure the laptop wasn't left unattended and unlocked in a public place, but I think we can all see where it's going.
