unironically buy a reliable used pickup truck in cash and charge money to carry shit from point A to point B.

the #1 recommendation I make to people with low amounts of cash is to buy a pickup truck and haul shit. the moment you have a truck you have value even if you have zero other skills besides being able to drive and lift heavy shit and move it from one place to another.

you can also go on the free section of craigslist and pick stuff up for free and then list it on like facebook market place and sell it. when I was dead broke at one point this is what I did: I picked up a ton of used gym equipment (weight plates, barbells, etc) from people looking to get rid of it for free and then sold them to meatheads building home gyms for pennies on the dollar. weight plates average like $1 a pound. pick up 1000 pounds of weights on free listings and sell them for 50 cents a pound and you've made $500. do this 20 times and you've got $10k. bonus is you get a good workout in every time you do this and it's so easy a retard can do it.

get someone who knows cars and trucks to go with you when you look at shit. you don't give a fuck about the paint job or body damage, you want something with a working engine and transmission and that doesn't have rotting tires. im sure you have at least one gearhead friend who can go with you and let you know if you're buying good value or a piece of shit that is going to die on you on the drive back.
