My honest opinion says the squeeze is done. With a huge letoff to many people including myself. However the goal of seeing hedgies have an investigation is still on the table, but this is Biden's America. Most people who still remember 08 know they'll just get away with it.

Well, whichever firm it was that took out those 420k calls at 110 certainly has an interest in keeping the price steady. There's no genuine guarantee that the price will rise much above that soon, if ever. Maybe that firm will be hard enough at work buying up whatever dips may come that it may actually trigger the squeeze itself. Low volume does lead to volatility, and price increases are what we need to spark a squeeze if possible.
Note, I am a genuine 3iq dipshit who doesn't understand the stock market and only bought into this because my friend thought it was a good idea. This post is probably fuelled in part by cope.

even if you go on the figures from the bloomberg terminals its still way down. the 120% number is from mid-january and is way out of date. the current high short to float % can be obviously explained by them re-shorting a bunch of stock at its peak while they (illegally) drive the price down with jew tactics

I'm not debating that at all, I'm just pointing out the very obvious attempt at manipulation, something that hints at panic. Incidentally, what are the bloomberg terminal short float percentages and did you save a source for those?

Yeah, I know, but if whichever firm this is that took out those 421k calls at 110 each decides to buy up a decent chunk of the shares that fall below whatever they might consider to be a reasonable floor, they'll reduce the volume on the market, contributing to volatility, and therefore potentially sparking that squeeze. Far more of the paper handed people and risk averse firms are going to hold with a firm floor in place, so the volume will drop based on that too. Of course, I have no idea what this firm's willing to buy up to ensure the success of their calls, but it's still a nice little piece of hopium.
Feel free to point out where I'm wrong on any of this, since I genuinely do know nothing about the stock market.

Again, I have to ask, were you trying to show the call placed at 800 strike price with a volume of 14716, expiring on friday? Because that would suggest that a group willing to burn a chunk of money on a gamble that not only will this shit reach 800 a share, it'll actually go over that on friday. In fact, given how fast the short squeeze's peak is likely to be (seconds to minutes), this group may be predicting that the short squeeze will continue past 800 to some unspecified but decently outlying price, I'm guessing this because I think they may need some time longer than seconds or minutes to recieve their shares, due to the incredibly high demand for shares that there will be at the peak plus the high volume of failures to deliver on GME in recent months.
