Ill show you a little math on TSM Jan 2022 calls:
100 strike @$36 means you break even at 136, or +6%
120@25 = 145, +13%
130@20 = 150, +17%
140@17 = 157, +23%
150@14 = 164, +28%
But remember, if it doesn't go up, you lose money each day to decay, and higher strike means higher decay, and if it come Jan 2022 and its under your strike, its worth $0. Thats why it costs less because there is more risk and a higher bar to break even.
The closer you buy to a strike price of zero, the more closely it will follow the stock, but you can afford more calls than you could stock. With 10k you could buy 2 $85 calls which would basically act like leveraged shares at x2.

I think once all of the big funds clear their positions (which might be when Robinhood allows buying BB specifically), you'll see big firms go long on BB and you'll see it start making incredible gains. If not, then fuck, I threw a quarter of a mil down the drain, cause I'm almost 99% certain BB will hit 20 dollars by March (and a lot of people think it will hit 40 for some reason in the options by late Feb).

You could also sell covered calls. Thats what I do. If you own 100 shares, you can sell 1 call. I sually sell weekly calls OTM based on the average weekly gains for the last few months, unless there is an event, then I adjust based on what direction I think is more likely. Covered calls are great because you get passive income and decrease your risk and you can do it in a retirement account.

There's a semiconductor shortage (specifically TSMC 7nm), might have missed it from every analyst jerking off AMD for managing to make one architecture that outperformed the 10th refresh of skylake. Intel is buying up TSMC 3nm for show and will roll out more dirt cheap 14nm and 10nm silicon at big margins to x86 customers with no choice to buy but Intel. People like to hate on covered calls because they like buy lottery ticket, but with covered calls you can always win. im bullish on TSM but there's a point where overwhelming demand isn't doing them any favors anymore. We're at the point where TSM is getting some spillover effect. Their fabs are already at max capacity for the foreseeable future
I think it's safer to lean towards shares, at least you're not chasing theta while TSM takes years to build up new capacity. Or LEAPs that aren't crazy OTM
If you want to make big gains, you need to start looking at companies that aren't already worth half a trillion
