Agreed. I remember following so much "good advice with DD" about so many shit coins in 2017 - 2018. Extensive research.
I think 99% of them are dead now lol, despite them all having good "tokenomics" and teams at the time. These days most shit coins don't even try they're just erc20 junk, other than the Defi crowd which 1 or 2 might survive and be the next link, but the rest will eventually wilter and die.
I remember so much random shit, NEO, HOLO, SIA all kinds of ico trash.

I'd say any of the big tokens atm - Uni, AAVE, 1inch, sushi etc all have a good chance of being around and worth a hell of a lot more in a few years, but there's no way to tell which one. Uni holds the market majority atm but that could change with a solid out of nowhere competitor.
But hedging your bets with a few of these, and selling once made good profit back into a (hopefully crashed and cheap) btc/eth would not be a bad idea.
The goal would be to be basically all in btc at the start of next bull run, then move into eth as it flounders. Assuming 100k ath that's the point where we should of made it. Then cash into fiat, or live off crpyto and home it remains stable.

My plan anyway.
Play with shit coins till market crashes then dca into btc over next 4 years. remember pre halvening btc was 3k last year.

Most normies know BTC now, but few are actually invested in it. The normies at my workplace think they're cool for having $100 in BTC to fuck around with. Normie money hasn't entered, and when normie money finally enters the space and stays there, bull runs are history. There are no new investors to enter.
Normies are actually going to invest maybe 5% of their money into BTC after this run. they will own the BTC indirectly through some kike fund or from companies buying BTC like MSTR.
Also at 300k BTC would have a 6T market cap and the crypto market would probably be valued at maybe 10T. The stock market's mkt cap is currently at 40T so the best we can do is probably a 4x
