>What kind of degrees are worth it?
I can really only recommend engineering or becoming an attorney.

The medical field is a toxic wasteland no self respecting man should work in. I was an x-ray tech for 3 years. skip it.

ICU Nurse here

This Consoomer bitch can get the fuck out. Watches get covered in shit and spread infections to other patients/family members. Stethoscopes get stolen by ghetto staff so you just use the cheap ones provided by the hospital. If you have airpods in while you should be attentive to what is happening on the unit then...well who really expected her to be a good nurse? Those $180 adidas will be stained in piss within a year, go black and get hydrophobic shoes. Scrubs are actually worth spending decent money on provided they're good quality.

To answer OP's question, being an RN is really good for someone who doesn't want to study past an undergrad while making 70k/year in their early 20s. Nurses, on average, have better unions than any other hospital services in Canada. Paying ridiculous U.S. tuition prices will offset your gains for a while though, but your choices for a 'worthy' degree are limited already.

In all seriousness, we need ladies stocking shelves and taking people's money. We need nurses. We need food workers like waitresses and drive-thru operators. We need people to answer phones and plenty of other things and these jobs aren't going away.
I think what we need to do is relieve the burdens on breadwinners so they can earn more and so that menial jobs lose their value like they should, which can enable a housewife to work part time before kids and after kids are grown enough that they don't need constant supervision or constant mentoring.
I think we accomplish this by slashing taxes, bolstering industry (providing more jobs) and rerouting research to nutrition so we can all be healthier and smarter. After ward, we need to renew entrepreneurship and redpill children on scheming noses, faggots and crypt "Christians".

I'm on my final year of BSE in EE, and honestly, you're right. While there are things outside your major that contribute to a well-rounded education, the price simply isn't worth it (in actuality). Once small companies realize that they can just test applicants during interviews instead of checking for degrees, the gig is up. If we don't go that route, we should make a national (or institutional) standard for credit hours on various subjects. People should be able to acquire information/knowledge as they please. All that should honestly matter is if they can pass a knowledge test at a designated facility for a small fee. If they pass, BAM, you earn the credits.

I am currently undergrad in a Russian major, realized a while ago that its completely useless but I'm too far in to back out now, plus I go to college completely for free.

I don't think I will ever get over the fact that I am irredemably retarded in STEM, all of my friends are engineers or CS guys and I'm the retard who chose to learn Russian. It feels like I've just been shafted, I tried for about two months to do an engineering path but I just couldn't take the math workload and ended up pussying out.

I'll be living in Moscow next year, taking programs, maybe there's something there for me.

I have a mediocre coding skill, I am a decent artist, and I have probably a Masters or PhD equivalent in firearms knowledge/skill but that's pretty much useless in the future.

No direction, at least I have a comfy wagie job, decent crypto holdings, 1 ETH, 50 Link and I hope to make it 100 soon. I also swim laps at a pool for $10 hr. Its not impressive but nobody comes into swim so we basically sit behind the desk or workout and get paid.

The market moves in cycles.
What you want to do is time the bull with pulling out all of your holdings when things inevitably dip. Especially if you're just holding through the bull and not realizing gainz, you need to transfer to a stablecoin and just reenter once things do dip.

This is the gist of the GBR trading pattern:
HODL BTC ETH LINK
After they hit new ATH, transfer some profits to alts
After alts moon, transfer all holdings to stablecoins at the peak of the bullrun
Wait for things to fall back down to the "new normal" (basically just wait like three months for the market to stabilize again)
Reenter the market as desired

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about finances or crypto though, so you're going to have to hire a CPA or something when the time comes.

High level architects make great money, but it’s usually a decade or two of ass kissing and office politics. I said fuck that and started doing my own work on the side until I could afford going on my own.
Architecture does teach a great skill set that can be very versatile if you know what to do with it. If you’re creative you can be quite successful. I quit the corporate gig and started designing my own projects on lots that I’ve purchased in town. I cleared $320,000 in profit designing a five-plex apartment complex that I sold last year after a few months of work. I beats the $82k I was making at an office working overtime every fucking week.

Pic related.

If you google "Data Science Roadmap" and "Machine Learning Roadmap" you'll come across several of these that have 99.99% overlap in skill requirements + tools you should know how to use.

I spent hundreds of hours on YT, reading O'Reilly books (pirated obviously) on R, Python, Data Science, ML, ML tools like Sci-Kit , TensorFlow, Keras, etc. while also going through a few free boot camps and courses.

Andrew Ng has a fantastic free Coursera course on ML fundamentals that I also took. Everyone I've met has taken this course.

DataCamp has a great Data Science bootcamp and other Data Science courses.

freeCodeCamp has a great free genenral bootcamp and thousands of videos on YT.

All in all you can learn everything for free via YT University. You have to spend a few weeks gathering resources and planning out how you're going to tackle it all. 6 months in you'll have a moment where you realize how far you've come and how far you still have to go. I'm still learning as these are still new and ever evolving fields.

Godspeed fren.

Or its just room and board costs. My wife went to a private nursing school and tuition was only like 3.5k a semester. But if you needed to stay on campus you'd tack on an extra 15k minimum for the year. So what would be only 28k turns into 80k+.
Its what happened to me. Went to a cheap state school but because I had to get housing and shit out there it ended up costing over 70k for 4 years. Parents made too much so I didn't get any assistance from the state. But they didn't make enough to support me in any way financially. And there were no community colleges or universities around me so I had no choice

In my opinion they'll make you shine brighter than all other applicants because Data Science is en vogue at the moment. If you have the chance to get into a program where you won't be raped and indebted for the degree I say go for it. You're already most of the way there anyway so you might as well follow through completely. Just as an FYI all of the self taught programmers and engineers that taught themselves everything they know about Data Science and/or ML run laps around the newly minted Data Science MS's which, as fate would have it, are subordinates to the aforementioned programmers and engineers with mere CS and CE BS's (or none at all). What you learn in a graduate program is pretty fundamental and generally useless to what you'll be doing in industry (if that makes sense). You'll just end up learning most of what you'll know + get good on on the job. These are my own experiences from my workplace and that of others I immediately collaborate with.

Your mileage may vary.
