I saw this because I'm interested in home gym equipment, and I've been doing research for a buddy who wants some equipment.

Regardless, it seems as though steel processing is down and scarcity has increased. It's pretty much all due to the pandemic. As such, gym equipment is going to be going up in price soon.

Well, from learning through you guys, silver is usually mined as a by-product of other mining operations, and few dedicated silver mines exist. And when silver is mined, it is found fewer clumps and is more diffuse than gold (which tends to stick together).

So if the production of other metals and steel is down, then silver will also be more scarce as a result.

Let's talk Copper
Is the price of Copper suppressed by derivatives trading the same way Gold and Silver is?

I know it would never make sense to purchase copper bullion but I have a ton of copper from scrapping that I have saved over the years. It's extremely neat and tidy and doesn't take up any real space. Am I better off holding it forever the same way I would with silver? I note that when silver and gold spiked in 1980 so did copper but it's at even higher levels now.

Is there a certain percentage of the spot that i should look for? Some anons have said never pay more than 2.50 over spot for silver while some say anything under 4.50-5.00 is acceptable. I know this also depends on what type of round/bar/coin you're buying.
