Should I sell my IRA (before taxes / not Roth) estimate of $20,000 on stock and eat penalties and taxes to put towards another long term investment like Amazon stock? Or is this a really bad idea? I’m not contributing to it but I used to make 140k/yr but quit two years ago to start my own software telecom business which is still not profitable. I’m Giving it one more year til I give up (no partners just all me) and go back to waging unless I get better at trading. The lockdowns shutdown all my travel and trade show opportunities.

IRAs are shitty for retirement anyway. Consider using an HSA instead. HSAs are triple tax advantaged. You need a high deductable health plan though, so only consider this if you are in relatively good health anyway.

>Should I cash out my IRA early

The answer to this is always no. Hands off your piggy bank you fucking Mong. It's for your future self not for your degenerate gambling.
