I'm in debt. I have $2500 in credit debt and with lawyer fees its around $3000 - $3500. I want to get rid of this debt. What is the best way to do this?
I don't owe anything other than this. This was from buying supplies to go to college (laptop, books, ect...). Haven't finished school and want to join the millitary but they do a credit check.
What is my best option?

military has debt relief programs - terrible choice to join the military

Military doesnt care about outstanding debts. All they care about is that you are current on all your payments.

haven't started making any payments. Bank wants me to start payments and I'm looking for an option other than what they offered me.

I want to go to college without being $100,000 in debt. The military pays for my education if i join. That's my main reason.

Go to a community college - they are practically free, then after 2 years transfer to a state school which are extremely cheap.

The military is bad, son. You shouldn't waste 4 years of your life being degraded by redneck scum.

I've tried community college. Trying to keep my own apartment, go to school, work 50 hours a week I'm still in too much debt.
Community college is OK but its still not anything close to "free college"

You're doing it wrong. Financial aid covers it; talk to your financial aid.

I'm an Army veteran and my experience wasn't bad. Wasn't great, but wasn't bad.

The military will be an experience and a half OP. Fucking do it.
