subway doesn't cater to chefs morons, they want to help make custom built pc's more mainstream. if your mom can walk into a gamestop and tell them exactly what she needs from a home computer, and get exactly that at a lower price than buying something pre-built, that's a reason for her to go there. with the right marketing, anyone interested in a pc or laptop will know it's cheaper to get one "custom made", and down at gamestop they can build one for you after a 10 minute conversation with one of their "engineers".

normies are curious about the idea, but too lazy to do any research, order parts, assemble them etc. enter: gamestop. or "compu-build" or "custo-tech" or whatever they want to rebrand as.

You know that isn't true. Companies like IBUYPOWER have been around for two decades and there's a reason Prebuilt companies started offering gaming prebuilts.

All that being said, building a PC is financially more responsible and easy to do normally, but custom PCs are booming right now because there's a shortage going on and they are guaranteed stock.

Well, VW's price increased from ~$190 to $1900, a roughly 1000% increase, while VW was approximately 53% shorted..

GME was 138% shorted in January, so by extrapolation that'd be an increase of ~2600%. A stock valued at $100 would sell for $2600.
However this extrapolation is probably incorrect, the value:%increase is likely a non-linear relationship in this case due to the nature of these shorts being well over 100%.

If it's actually closer to the info out there talking about short floats being upwards of 260%, the spike is going to literally be an asymptote. A 260% increase would correlate to a stock valued at $100 selling for ~$4900.

Consider these elements as well:
>Wallstreet is not strictly limited to activities and investments in the USA, but internationally as well
>The potential pool of money caught up in these shorts is on the order of trillions
>Due to shorting >100% of existing stock, the potential loss for those on the hook, in mathematical calculations for market values, is literally infinity
>Anybody in the chain of debt for these shorts is legally on the hook for potentially losing everything they own
>The higher up the chain you are, the further from that obligation you are
>But the longer those lower down hold out from paying or go under, the bigger the debt becomes as it moves up to you

>Potentially the largest (fingers-crossed) non-violent, transfer of wealth in the history of the world
>Wallstreet panicking to stop it ; hedge fund managers responsible likely afraid of hitmen from their debtors, huge companies either running smear or hush campaigns while figuring out how to minimize infinity loss
>Literally inescapable because of shorting more stocks than were in cirulation
>Thru the pandemic, trillions of dollars went up into businesses such as Amazon
>Today, with the short squeeze looming in the near future, Jeff Bezos steps down as Amazon CEO. (Cashing out)

Gonna be an interesting month!

Everyone here who keeps shilling the squeeze has not been squeezed and drawing meme lines on VW. These are all larping faggots that are laughing at you and they want to see how long they can convince you to hold their bags. I feel bad cause you already lost and probably for many of you it almost does feel pointless to sell at this point, but you should really sell or if you don’t hold the shares as a painful reminder of your idiocy. Which might actually be smart for your future life in investing. A reminder everyday of how fucking stupid you were
