In 2018 I lost a lot during the crypto craze. I had nothing going on in my life (just wage slaving) so I basically watched that shit raise for weeks and then fomo'd in too late with zero knowledge of how the market works thinking this was I once in a lifetime opportunity I was about to miss.

Then came the crash and the no-coiners laughing at us bagholders.

I sold a couple months later and after losing years of savings and I spent months of feeling dread.

Then, from the sideline, I watched the weed stock craze unravel. Lurked r/WSB, /biz/ and Stocktwits for months and noticed the same "meme" patterns. "Hodl", "Diamond hands" shit from "trust me bro" shills and kids with lunch money invested. Saw it crash and realized my previous loses in crypto were kind of a blessing in disguise.

Would I have not identified the same pattern of shills over multiple boards and years, I have no doubt that I would have YOLO'd even more into the GME/AMC meme and lost even more.

To those who lost a lot today, your life is not over. At the end of the day, it is just money.

Hey man, btc is pretty safe from here on out.
You can dabble with undervalued cryptos like ltc and bch who havent seen attention of late.
Stocks I recommend Airbus, Uber and Exxon.
Also stack junk silver.
Now as for your financial situation, it sucks but probably by saving money from a job you can save a large portion of it back in 5 years time, through investing and gaining 20% yoy you'll be back and better in no time.
See it as a very valuable but even more expensive lesson of not to be greedy and chase pumps.

Just make an excel in which you save 500 or whatever you think is feasible a month and you invest and make 1.5-2% per month. See how fast you'll get back and beyond your previous amount of money.

For instance, a daily chart is meaningless if youre just looking to scalp, and a 5 min chart is useless for a position trade other than trying to time exactly the entry on a specific day. A stock can be in a longterm downtrend as reflected by the daily, but on an individual day look bullish because of the 5min. Short time frames for short trades, long time frames for longer essentially for the most part.

IMO nokia got fuckd in this situation haha. They've been threatening to break through for a while but brokers panicked and throttled them cause they shot up at the same time as some meme stocks.
