i only had 10k in 2016. now i have 200k 5 years later. I invested all my meager paycheck into crypto for 3 years. every single dime I could save. oh I also crashed my new 40k car. if I didn't make such a stupid decision I would probably be at 500k now. don't buy cars, reinvest it all. thank me later.

oh i only started buying late 2017 also so. shud have stated sooner but I had a girlfriend in 2016 and she distracted me. I actually made an account to buy crypto in january 2017 but ultimately only bought half a year later at 5x the price. cuz my girlfriend was coming over a lot and i had sex. i forgot about crypto and missed out some gaines.

OP here. My roommate is a back end web developer and he's making 3 figure salary already 2 years out of college. I am pretty interested in getting into programming. Any suggestions on places to start learning? Just jumping into YT vids?

This gives me hope. Only found biz recently and crypto looks pretty alluring for making it quick. It sounds like you were lucky to jump in during 2016

Find a nice lady who you are smitten with, and marry her. Max out both yours and her ROTH IRA every year, and if you have a 401k with a match, contribute the max amount possible. Remove all dependencies for drugs and alcohol, and develop a budget. Put all of your excess cash in a technology ETF. In 5 years, you will be worth 100k. Rebalance your portfolio 4 times a year. Stay away from these Shitcoins unless its fun money that you plan to waste.

School isn't a scam if you are interested in... learning new stuff.

Incredible i know. You dumb niggers are blue collar workers. You don't belong to a university.

That's how it should be phrased to young people so they understand they shouldn't waste time going to university.

I wanted to go into teaching so I got halfway into a master's teaching program before realizing that the career path was fucked and it wasn't actually something I wanted to or could do and ended up wasting like $30k on schooling that didn't amount to anything. Biggest mistake of my life. Afterwards I moved home with mom and dad and saved for a few years working an overnight job and put all my money towards paying off my debt because I didn't want it accruing interest and now I'm free but I'm basically at square 1 again.

get a law degree and get in on the most grey area shit that is making a lot of money when you pass the bar
5 years ago it was ICOs, now its SPACs, by the time you're a lawyer it will be something else. look for whatever is the new hot business way for venture capitalists to take overinflated companies public so they can dump their bags.
