Yes, but it's also stored in the Trezor. While it's updating, it's exclusively residing on that sheet of paper. Lets say something goes wrong with the update: oh fuck i've gotta make sure this single sheet of paper survives until I can find a new one.

One strategy is to use the trezor to create multiple backups, create a wallet, put some coins in, write down the seed phrase, then wipe it and make a new wallet. This would be for ultra cold storage, if you had $100k btc you could store it across 5 or 10 of these wallets.

People always say to write seeds on paper, but many things can happen to a piece of paper. Why not also turn the seed phrases into some sort of poem and stuff them into a .txt of other paragraphs/book segments maybe add a cipher and whatever? You can then safely save it into some cloud storage for peace of mind.
