So please explain to me why the government is entitled to my income? Don't remember ever signing an agreement with them and it seems the conditions boil down to "pay us or we'll kill you/torture you" which sounds more like a threat than a contract. Arguably the government has made a threat against my life and I am morally in the right to defend myself with lethal force against anyone coming to collect taxes.

What I don't agree with is the government taking an exorbitant amount of money from me and then shovelling it at minorities and foreign countries. They can absolutely get fucked for that shit.
I always thought an opt in taxation system would be the most fair, then everyone is happy.
You get a flat tax for basic emergency services and essential government costs and then the rest is optional. So you can essentially just tick whatever humanitarian issues you agree with or what services you want in a socialized package (like healthcare and shit). Then the government gets that money and has to work with it.
It will never happen though because they're all fucking thieves.
