JM Bullion is just one of the largest dealers. They probably had a huge inventory on hand for just such a run. JM will not be able to build up inventory anytime soon - they'll probably get only 50K ASE's a week and those will be going out the door as soon as they get them - I think this means at the very least you won't see any in stock inventory for months. We are running at 35-45% premiums on physical silver right now. This is insane. Physical price is diverging completely from the phony paper market where they manipulated the price today by selling 1.5 BILLION in short silver oz today...you look at the chart and they slammed it down on heavy volume. Clear manipulation. Meanwhile, good luck getting physical without paying 40% premium.

The high premiums are going to incentivize people to stand for delivery of these futures contracts, take the silver off COMEX and sell into the retail market. It's free money to buy it at a suppressed price and then turn around and sell it into the real market where price is 40% higher.

When we say "premium" we mean difference between the futures price (paper) and the actual cost to get physical in your hand. That second one is the REAL price. When demand goes nuts, they can't suppress that price. But people can buy the suppressed contracts and take the fucking silver until they declare force majeure and then we don't have to play this game anymore with their paper. Then true price discovery will happen and silver will rocket.

This is the first step. This pushes up the price of physical silver, shown in the premiums. This creates an arbitrage opportunity. If JPM wants to hammer down silver prices on the futures markets, call their bluff, stand for delivery of these cheap contracts, and then turn around and sell the bars into the retail supply chain for an immediate 20-40% profit. So expect to se more people standing for delivery. The thing is, people need to keep the demand for physical silver high between now and March delivery. This will put massive pressure on COMEX.

Miners don't have to sell at paper prices. Miners are started to contract directly with manufacturers. Futures markets are antiquated. There is some lgitimate hedging, but there's no need to go to a futures market to get supply. It's all paper and they discourage actually taking silver. Miners contract directly with manufacturers and they can set their own price. As soon as it becomes clear physical silver has diverged from paper, the jig is up.

It's just not going to happen over night. it requires contract holders to stand for delivery and take the silver off the COMEX. With huge demand for physical and premiums at 40%, that's very possible as it is free money for someone to stand for delivery and then turn around and sell it for a double digit profit.

Not just China and Russia. BASEL III reclassified gold as a Tier 1 asset for reserves. Previously, US Treasuries were basically the only Tier 1 asset alongside allocated dollars. Now, central banks are working in more and more gold into their reserves, all over the world. They can't do this quickly or else it will break the market. So this may be part of the reason for the manipulation. Silver is not a Tier 1 asset, but because of its ties to gold and its monetary value, silver and gold interact and impact one another. You can't act on one that doesn't impact the other, even if delayed. Gold and silver are linked.

Silver should be at least $1000 an ounce on the basis of,

1) The average historical daily wage, from Graeco-Roman times to the time of Charles Dickens or Henry Ford (about 1/10th of an ounce) (https://lenpenzo.com/blog/id47735-historical-gold-and-silver-benchmarks-for-job-wages-and-commodity-prices.html);

2) Given that 1980 was simply an exposure, by the Hunt Brothers, of the true price of silver when the derivative market falls apart, the 1980 ATH adjusted for real inflation (which is $966 according to ShadowStats);

3) From calculating a DGR of 1:1 and a GSR of 1:15, as we had also in 1980 (1:15 is simply the normal historical average for silver; and the mining ratio is even 1:8);

4) The short positions of the banks. GME was 140% short; owing to the big 8 banks, silver is 50,000% short;

5) Common sense about the rarity and usefulness of silver. Almost no stockpiles (governments have only 3 weeks' mine supply), annual investable supply is only about 100 million ounces, less than a $3 billion market cap or about the same as GME before the squeeze. And yet silver is critical for modern life. Mining insiders say that pretty much all high-grade silver deposits are now gone. Silver is so rare that owning 60 ounces ($1500) puts you in the top 1% of owners. Owning 30 ounces of gold ($55,000) puts you in the top 1% of gold-owners. Gold is also mined at a mere 1:8 ratio with silver. Yet the GSR is 1:70. The historical average is 1:15: some say 1:10. The artificially suppressed price of silver is causing it to be consumed so fast that if we don't squeeze silver to $1000 soon, the world might simply collapse into a new Dark Age.

Yes, but it doesn't matter, the fact that anybody can take delivery on PSLV is what matters. It's part of what keeps it accountable, along with allocation and audits. The more shares of PSLV people buy, the more Eric Sprott will take delivery and drain the COMEX. Whereas SLV is simply an unaccountable black hole.

Not really. Once retail dealers run dry the best option is to go to PSLV, because Sprott WILL buy in bulk off COMEX (or other exchanges) in order to meet trust obligations. This actually would have been a much more efficient way of breaking silver prices in the first place than by going to retail dealers, because it would have broken the initial roadblock - Sprott could have first broken the COMEX until the COMEX was forced to stop him from buying, at which point miners/mints would be fucking lining up to sell to PSLV at off-COMEX prices.

The reason everyone constantly recommends PSLV and AG is because those companies are legit as fuck and would be more than happy to break the market manipulation.

My view is that they want people in silver because they know it is undervalued relative to other valuations, so it won't screw anything up, they are not hedging against silver rising because they control the price---the gold/silver prices, I read enough about this years ago to conclude that they were likely fixed by a few desks out of london, etc.

Stock prices are all relative to one another, and having somuch demand go into one stock was not the equivalent of everyone trying to buy a bottle of pepsi at the 7-11 and having the clerks just get overwhelmed, it exposed a much deeper and more significant flaw with 7-11's supply chain.

I honestly can't believe the goldifsh-memories here---last Thursday people were denied the market while others were in it, and the "liquidity" explanation doesn't address the root issue of unequal market access. I mean, I bought at that point, two shares just because I was disgusting and I want to see what will happen. They're still engaged in price-fixing through Robin Hood and other apps.

The "liquidity" excuse means that we don't have an even playing field, if liquidity were the baseball bat that enables you to knock a trade out of the park, one team gets to use a bat with a steel rod in the middle, one doesn't.

I think the "lol, retards" on here, I know that's 4chan's thing, but it's really not just the same thing as idiots seeing a stop on TV and dogpiling on---even if we are 99% certain it is now over and it would have ended up this way anyway, which I am not, but even if I were, I would say "but that's only because the market fucked the dog last Thursday."

If people are buying silve rit's because it's apparent the market is a casino where the house uses different rules for different players, the explanations about "liquidity requirements" are just an excuse. The fundamental problem is a casino with two sets of rules
