5 years if you suck at trading, 3 years if you're alright, 1 year if you're really fucking good and make basically no serious mistakes or recover from your mistakes without losing much. There are more x10s and x100s on this board than you might think, and there's a lot of x5s and x2s. Think about it like this, in the number of multiples it takes to get enough money to retire. For the sake of the argument let's say 10M. Starting with 20, if you manage to pick x100's every time you could retire after a mere 3 100x trades, presuming you invest 20 dollars worth and apply all of your profit to your next investment. Examples include buying Rubic at a cent, BAO at 0.000001, and GME at 4 dollars. Obviously, it's unlikely that you, a newfag, would be able to successfully pick 3 x100s, and avoid the FUD and dip-selling long enough to make this a reality, but it's food for thought.

yes, DYOR is a big part of it, but also just making smart decisions and holding/believing in products you genuinely think have potential. I held through a lot of people fudding RBC and saying it was a scam, pnd, even when it dumped down to 6 cents simply because I believed in the product, and now it's up to 20 cents and approaching even higher limits now. Similar thing with BAO, it seems genuinely revolutionary so I'm holding onto it. Good advice is to pick a sell target and wait. For RBC, it's a dollar, for BAO, it's one cent. When you reach that sell target, take out your initial investments and reinvest them into something else profitable, then let the rest ride.

I mean, no, of course it's not that easy, I'm speaking theoretically. Hindsight is 2020 but it *can* be that easy if you have the right wit. Just think about it like this. RBC was less than a cent a few months ago, and it was purchaseable on uniswap. That's a 100-1000x depending on how early you got in. There are legitimately coins on this board with that level of potential, but you do sometimes have to find them yourself.

You'd have to be pretty good and have a good grasp on stock trading, crypto and possibile future trends from the get go. And avoid getting attached to assets, you want to be as cynical as possible. Also grind a lot, and keep a diversified portfolio. Not necessarily only crypto, e.g. real estate, but that field makes pajeets coins look reliable
