I think an important question is if the short position is properly collateralized.

My theory is that due to collusion between citadel and its broker, it is not. This means that they could hold forever and never need to cover, and probably just get a bailout from the government in case this fails.

We should campaign for the SEC or whatever entity responsible to look into this.

Yeah, from the dropped volume now it seems that the long whales (regardless of the anxious retail internet minnows) are confidently holding their shares for the big squeeze, and not selling any. Their key is not the buying of new shares, it is NOT SELLING what they already have during the coming attacks, tricks (like DTC's Thursday dip) and fluctuations. If, as I believe, the short-squeeze is in progress, then the ultimate (brief) crescendo price will likely be a new high for GameStop stock, very high. What price I cannot say.

All longs should have stops set well over $1,000/share, for the moment, simply to prevent lending of their GME shares to the short funds.
