Depends on the pool. It says on the dashboard. I think some of them have over 70 days left. BNT voters can vote to extend if they want. Rewards were just extended 30 more days.

Not even bnt holders vote. Only stakers which is awesome and leaves it to actual community of users.

It would be hilarious if after all these years on biz, I make it off BNT instead of link. This is the only project that has arguably better tokenomics than Chainlink in my opinion. I keep looking for a catch but I can’t find one

Very based. How long were your bags in there for that payday?

>> No.27408017

It's hilarious because old biz was all about bancor but the crowd is fickle so when they had to pivot from v2 to v2.1 it was delayed a few months everyone was pissed and moved on to farms and scams and now people are missing an obvious one that will keep growing and get bigger and bigger.

Why is staking so comfy in Bancor? I'm not use to this in crypto.

Any anons wanna clue me in on what happens to the liquidity mining rewards if the vote to extend them doesn’t pass? Surely they won’t be gone completely

How much BNT to make it?

Ive had 9k link and 30k BNT in since the start of the rewards (mid November) and got 30k more BNT in rewards ($56k). I restaked it and now I’m making like $250+ a day in rewards. I love Bancor.

72 week minimum. They are going to keep running until APR from fees is high enough that they’re not needed.

can someone tell me please what's the meaning of ''make room"?
what should I do?

The vote has already passed but would imagine some sort of rewards would continue or fees from swaps will be bigger part of revenue

>> No.27409492

>>27409296
It's not guaranteed to be 72 weeks, they only expect it to run 72 weeks. If the vote for extension fails then it ends right there.

>> No.27409656

>>27409370
add BNT to the link/bnt pool pair to make more room for LINK

>> No.27409671

>>27409492
It’s very unlikely extension votes will fail, even with the odd whale voting against all the time. LPs aren’t going to vote down their main source of income while fees remain low.

Since the start, so around 8-10 weeks give or take. Easiest money I’ve ever made in my life. I am so bullish on BNT is not even funny

My only concern is that it will totally fuck voting as everyone races to leverage their vBNT for real money.

i keep 80% in btc
15% in medium term speculation tech apps like BNT 1inch REEF grt etc
the remaining 5% i use to speculate shitocoins
minimum leave 50% in btc at all times, you dont want to be left behind, and everything but btc is speculation

I would think a sizable amount of stakers would just keep their voting rights so they have a say in the protocol but yes that's an angle I hadn't thought of. I don't think it would cause people to race to sell vbnt just would keep a steady pressure so arbitragers had incentive to buy and stake for free money. Definitely a possibility though if there was a big gaping hole in the pool.

I keep getting a message while trying to stake 2000 link with a ~2200 link balance

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong here.

You'll need quite a lot of ETH for gas prices at the moment.

Sure, unlike other amm'which require you to stake tokens on both sides of the pool, bnt lets you do one side or the other. Make room means the pool is balanced and someone needs to add bnt(usually) so someone else can add the tkn for that pool...

Is there any drawback to staking on both sides of a pool? I was so confused by this I have scared to use it
